DollarToRupeeConvert helps users convert between US dollars and Indian rupees. This policy describes how information may be handled when you use the app.

Information you enter

The currency amounts you enter are used to calculate conversions. The app is not intended to require an account or collect your name, address, or payment details.

Exchange-rate requests (Frankfurter API)

DollarToRupeeConvert retrieves the latest available USD-to-INR reference exchange rates using the Frankfurter API at api.frankfurter.app. These are reference rates, not continuously updating trading quotes. The app requests currency-rate information; the amount you type is used locally for the conversion calculation and is not included in the exchange-rate API URL.

Frankfurter describes its API as not logging personal data, IP addresses, or request URLs. Network requests necessarily involve technical processing to deliver responses, and the service’s practices may change. See Frankfurter’s website for current information.

Local storage

The app may retain the latest exchange rate on your device so that a previously retrieved rate can be displayed offline. Local storage is not the same as sending personal information to the app developer.

Analytics, advertising, and sharing

The app privacy disclosures should reflect any analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or other third-party services included in the app. This policy will be updated if those practices change.

Children

The app is a general-purpose currency conversion utility and is not designed to solicit personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if app features or data practices change. Updates will be posted on this page.
